week 1 fist of bloody

 hi

This summer, I'm going to be talking about some summer music. No updates here. Lets go.

Man, I had a little journey with Gabba music... I went from calling it weird to loving it. Good news, as broken and as outdated as my coverage on XROGER was, at least it got uploaded to Youtube only to be striked by FOXYUN. Progress has been made in the Nerdcore Techno Community and thats a good thing. Hopefully, more and more people are able to archive and perserve this stuff for the years to come. Nerdcore Techno is a term reffering to Japanese music that samples/remixes songs and tv clips to a specific type of beat. That is my loose definition of Nerdcore Techno that I apply to when I listen to a song from that genre. I have a question tho:

Do Bloody Fist Records count as Nerdcore Techno? Hear me out, ok? Bloody Fist maybe? kinda applies to my definition of Nerdcore Techno but Ill save that for later. Anyway, Bloody Fist was a record label made in the 90s by Dj Mark N. With all the Gabber out there, Bloody Fist is unique for its different genre mashing and techniques. Everybody on the label has at least something you might like from thier records. It really is something. The label was made to keep the current state of Hardcore music underground and non commercial. At one point, they went after Rotterdam Records and Dj Paul Elstak for selling out and becoming commercial on the song: Rainbow Up My Arse. JUST LISTEN TO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now that's what I call Abrasive and Choatic.

Man, covering this label is very uncharacteristic for this particular blog...
The moral of the story is to listen to You're Going To Die and I'll Make Them Pay.

Thats it.

Next time ill cover something that I feel confident in covering because I'm going to be talking about the stuff im listening to over the summer. Bad start for the series but ill cover something better.

the worst album(s) of 2020 because I'm lazy

So yeah, I promised a worst albums of 2020 list and honestly... I don't have enough to do a top 10 list and I hate all of these albums equally...
Today, I'm gonna give these albums rewards or something because of how much they disappoint me. Let's begin.

1. Kyle - See you when I'm Famous
Imagine listening to an artist that you like... Now imagine the one album that that artist's fans consider is the best album... Now imagine that artist releasing an album full of stinkers just because some yes-men said it sounds like the album their fans consider the best saying its comparable to thier best album... See You When I'm Famous is the result of that. Kyle doesn't have any good beats on this album which is insane for the person who usually picks the best ones. And Kyle's performance is just lifeless here. Just disappointing considering it came from the same person who made three great projects before this.
....At least Kyle gets a cool reward for this album:
Here you go :)

2. Black Eyed Peas - Translation
Imagine going back to your roots as a rap group only to sell out with raggaeton trash. And the thing is that I respect Will.i.am because of his experience in production and skill but only to see him sell out again? AND THAT SHAKIRA FEATURE WAS BARELY A FEATURE. Overall, the whole project begins with trash and ends with trash. When your album makes Ozuna look like 2pac, you have fallen off harder than you've started off.

Congratulations Black Eyed Peas, You have won The Disappointment award's dust.
Ok what else is on the list? Hmmmmmmmm

3. Tory Lamez - DAYSTAR
Man, I knew something was weird with mr Tory when he was in his prime. I didn't even want to give this album a listen. Sheesh, I didn't want to download the jpg and just used a screenshot for the photo. Imagine this: You got ambushed by someone and [Luckily] made it out alive. Now imagine that you spoke out about it and people wouldn't believe you until you showed a picture of your bleeding wound to thousands of people who still don't care about and believe you. Now Imagine that someone made an album saying how they didn't do anything and just minded their own business and how the illuminati and the evil lizard people wanted to take his soul because he's an "independent artist" and makes himself out to be the saviour of rap when in reality, he is some pathetic Drake clone who does Booty jams for a living AND THIS TURNS OUT TO BE THE PERSON PEOPLE DECIDE TO BELIEVE. I already know who did it btw and it's definitely not the one who showed her bullet wounded foot. Yeah, this is the equivalent of the criminal pleading not guilty and getting off Scot-free for his crimes. The reward I'm giving this album is nothing because maybe giving the power to the people isn't a good idea. Yeah, this is the worst album of the year tbh.

While DAYSTAR is the worst album of the year, It does need a companion to it...

These albums look like a cute couple together and I hope they end up in a healthy relationship :)
It's just the fact that both of these artists suck that makes it not worth it in the end. Both suck and I'm glad they don't because they are too famous to listen to nobodies like me.

Blehhh, that's all the salt of 2020 I wanted to get off of my back. What you just read was an article I'd been wanting to put out since November of 2020. Crap, I'm just lazy... Anyways I'm preparing two big articles I've been waiting to write. Hope yall have a good April and I hope I have a good time writing these two things this month.

The Pharcyde: The real story
