december is fun

So lately, it has finally snowed where I'm at and I'm just happy we're all living in December. I'm also happy that 2020 is over. 2020 sucks and hopefully 2021 will be much worse.
Uuh... Music is a cool invention made by idk and I think we need to talk about it more.

Specifically, album releases this year...

2020 has got to be a good/bad year for music. On the plus side, we got some highly awaited releases dropped from great artists and even some literal gold on our hands. But on the other side, we got highly awaited disappointments and some cases of criminals getting away with thier disgusting antics.

But everything has its ups and downs and I'm going to be talking about my favorite albums in no particular order. Get the popcorn ready cause I'm going to be counting up my favorite albums that got me during this trash year.

1. T€∆M M£K4NØ -Classic_Project_2000.3gp
This album sounds like a Nintendo ds exploding and I love it. The sounds and samples in the song are perfect for the mood that this album is going for. I don't know what mood it is but it for sure has one... I'm not really a fan of the dismiss yourself label but the community is really nice and Its all good.

Overall the album gets a good 4/5 from me. Who knew that all the insanity in the world could come from the crush filter on a dj app?

2. dvsn - muse in her feelings
The transitions on this album are the best part. Best transitions of the year. Oh, the songs are good too.

3. Kacy Hill - can we talk about me again?
This album reminds me of something that PBS kids would make in the 2000s. It got that PBS kids vibe and that bill wurtz vibe. It's so nostalgic to me for some reason.

4. Various artists - The Psycho Blast Vol 4
I think that this is good. I like this album. I think that this album stands out from the other compilations that psychofilth records has made. My music taste has turned into trash and I honestly had made mistakes in life that I probably regret. Good album.

5. Bad Bunny - YHLQMDLG
Bro really released the best album of his career. In fact, best raggaeton album ever. This album (despite the language barriers) has gotten me through one of my worst experiences of 2020 and this album helped soothe the pain of the situation. Sure, it's got the usual cliches of mumble rap but it also has some amazing production value and great songs like Bichiyal, Solia, and Si Veo a Tu Mamá. This album is giving me some good memories and I like that. :)

6. Logic - No Pressure
As a Logic fan, I can say that this is easily album of the year. The production is great. Every song is a banger and the overall project is the best conclusion to end his career on. Even the music matches the album cover which is a thing I like. If there's one thing this album taught me, it has to be that all things will eventually come to an end. It's a great conclusion to end off for a great artist. Best album of 2020 imo.

2020 may have been a bad year but it sure did have some good music. I don't know when the worst albums list will come out but I'm glad I got this over with.

Update: I'm sorry for not being consistent with my uploads btw. There's still some stuff I have to deal with right now. Anyway, I can simply hope for a good 2021 and hope things will be okay. All we just have to do is hope. Have a nice day and see you later.

update on the albums lost to the dunes of time article

Lately, a lot of XROGER'S Dicography has been uploaded to youtube (or at the very least is on Soulseek). Shoutouts to ViolenceWitch on YouTube uploading the things that he can from the J-core genre. Now that XROGER'S Discography isn't partially lost media, that makes the article that I wrote mentioning their stuff outdated...

...Then I learned about Hakke Shoukai.

Hakke Shoukai and XROGER are both related to each other because (1) STAR FOURTH has a sequel and (2) The F**k Martine remix EP has their name on it with XROGER on it. But whatever, its known information that they are related. XROGER went on to go on a hiatus and Hayanda Rave is the label the artists are on right now.
Seriously, I'm happy that a massive part of
J-core is getting to YouTube. All we need left are the records from FOXYUN's label, L.B.T, and other electronic labels from Japan.

Update: I'm planning my worst/best of 2020 list and It's obviously gonna take some time to make.

See ya next week with my worst list, bye!

the scariest music project ever

Music is more than just compiled noise... It is a thing that can be taken as an art or taken like a joke. No matter how crazy a specific genre is, it's all taken from some kind of effort.
King Of The Beats can be taken as just noise but the samples make up for the insanity that is that album. I like that charm of electronic groups like the Cycheouts. They all have some form of rhythm to their insanity. I remember talking about gabber and  breakcore and mentioning these genres that destroyed my brain upon hearing them.

Before I talk about this album, I have to talk about speedcore. Speedcore is gabber on crack. Here's an example of what Speedcore is like... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Why didn't I talk about this on my article? Sheesh...
The Sharpnel Sound label had a fair share of speedcore on their albums too... Anyway, let's move on to the real deal. The scariest of scary. THE MEAT OF THE STEAK.

This isn't an article on Everywhere at the end of time. Why? That album ain't really scary to me. Besides, this is more of a horror movie if anything else. So lately (in this article), I've been talking about Speedcore... Now, how about I talk about  HYPER RICH?
HYPER RICH was a Japanese record label (in the same but different spotlight as Cycheouts.) that started in the 90s to the 2000s making compilation albums and some solo work. Among the many talents featured  in these albums, one artist stood out of the bunch: SONIC DRAGOLO.
SONIC DRAGOLO is one of the artists that was featured in most of the compilations and eventually got some of his own solo releases. I'm going to be talking about the personification of horror movies itself:
DON'T YOU DARE BE FOOLED BY THAT COVER IT'S FULL OF LIES AND YOU KNOW IT. If you don't know, SONIC DRAGOLO's style of music is just plain noise and drums stuck in the flinger filter 24/7. The title track is insane too. The my suweet hunny bunnyyyyyy is so eerie and so harmonious that- well, it takes something so child-like and innocent and turns it into the monster you didn't know you were afraid of. Listening to this album really got my fight-or-flight system triggered. The album reminds me of a FNAF jumpscare: Just sudden adrenaline which will end soon...

So My Sweet Honey Bunny by SONIC DRAGOLO is the scariest album ever...

Or is it? If there's one thing I have to say, it has to be that reality will always be more scarier and unnerving than fiction would EVER be. Do you think a silly speedcore album would be the scariest album ever? OF FREAKING COURSE NOT!

I was gonna talk about some legitimately disturbing stuff but it's much better if I were to end this on an unfinished note. Sorry, but I'm not gonna talk about this illegal stuff.
Bye! I AIN'T MAKING A PART 2 TO THIS EVER!

I'm back again

I'm going back to weekly uploads now. Just feeling happy enough to pet a dog. Probably might vent my anger on some korone. SQUEEZE!!!!!! Y'know, I'm just kidding right? ANYWAY NEW UPLOAD COMING SOON I CAN'T WAIT ANYMORE LETS GOOO!!!
