Ranma, Nichijou, and IOSYS

Ranma 1/2 is an anime. What else?
Anyway, The anime is cool and it's also the first anime that I binged. That's all I need to say. What about the music?
If you don't know, Ranma 1/2 has a bunch of soundtracks from different groups and artists. The picture shown here is a live album from the band: DoCo. These albums are hidden gems to me for a good reason: The music is a nice example of the type of music present in the 80s. Sure there was Citypop or Synth but this has S y n t h and  background music elements (don't know how to describe it though). I like it.
Another reason is the art that comes along in the booklets of each album. So nice.
But why am I gushing over an old show from the 80s? I like looking for music to discover and the music is from a show I enjoyed.

This type of stuff is normal. An anime usually has a bunch of cds and singles before thier cancellations. Nichijou is a wonderful example of the soundtracks and singles being awesome to listen to. ~It's so good~
Speaking of anime......

IOSYS
IOSYS is an electronic group dedicated to Touhou remixes and original albums.

Oh my gosh! Saying the group's name is bringing me nostagia......

Their first single ☆mwah☆ A good reccomendation for the weebs out there. Link here

I remember being intrested in japanese internet culture when I was young and OH BOY! Just look at the art from their remix single! Marisa stole the precious thing takes me back...
Nice to see some more art in this style: Nice

Man, you can hear the Niconico Douga MADs from this image. I can just hear the Yukkuris computer generated voice from this... Is that Ronald McDonald up there? THAT IS! That sports Koala mascot too is in the pic too!
This one in particular reminds me of Rhythm Heaven. That game was the stuff!
IOSYS has many different styles of techno(mostly dub) and their compilation album: White Album VOL 2 is a good example of their styles. Seriously, this is great stuff!

I haven't even scratched the surface of this whole thing! And as I'm editing this article, I'm just reminiscing on my weeb days and smiling about all this stuff I remember. :)

Overall, I should watch more anime...anywaydontforgettoblastpunkittouhoubye☆

Drum and bass is pretty cool

Drum and Bass has got to be the best genre to zone out to. With its different futuristic sounds to ~THAT DRUM BREAK~
Basically:
The amen break existed and then some dj was like:"we could make a genre out of this"
The end...

Genius, right?
Imagine levitating to a different universe full of places you remember but don't even know. That feeling is very common when listening to tracks like this masterpiece over herewhen that tune plays... Oh boy! does it make me feel refreshed (‘∀’●)♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
I absolutely love it! You can tell the effort pit into mixes and tunes are an A+. I'm so glad that my music taste is now whatever the heck it wants considering the fact I like an underground jazzy sound from many different types of genres and backgrounds. Oh boy, do I love this genre!

You might (not) be wondering: Why did you spend so much time just on make an article dedicated to drum and bass?

I just like it, okay?
Dedication is a weird concept to me.

I guess I'll just end the article on a weird note...

Here's some reccomendations if you're a beginner looking for something good to listen to while you're bored or something (It's just 2 albums):

If you're a beginner to the dnb genre, Anything that LTJ Bukem has made will (probably) get you into the genre. With such nice liquid-type sounds and drums, it will transfer you into a different world. Definitely, something to remember.

If you're into the club scene, this album is just for you with different synths and psychedelic drum patterns. And if you're a beginner, definitely listen to the group's other songs.

Good bye?

Disappointment, Stick, and Skrillex

So, Skrillex made a song called: ego death...
Ty dolla sign managed to say nothing in 1 minute and 42 seconds, Kanye was a clown for the rest of the whole song, and FKA twigs KILLED her 1 millisecond verse. My favorite verse has got to be Skrillex's. He didn't even speak a word.

Let's talk about these verses individually.
The production: Awesome! Amazing! but... come on, Skrillex! I need more House beats from you! I LIVE on good house production, and he ended it right when twig showed up, he ended the song on that verse. I hate how songs nowadays, are always lower than 3 minutes only to make money off of streaming and low attention spans... I just want a 7-minute club edit with that HOUSE HI-HAT and PLEASE LET FKA BREATH ON THE TRACK AND NOT END IT THAT WAY (>_<).

Ty Dolla $ign:
Trash. Let's move on.

Kanye:Really bro? U okay? Seriously, What is up? Kanye's verse just reminds me of the same Kanye that made Jesus is King and how irreversible he is. He didn't go Watch the Throne on em cause we know he won't. The problem is that this dude is clearly going through a phase and it shows. Kayne be making money off of a religion and tweeting cryptic messages because he's Kanye. It makes sense why he would be here (0_0).

Stick:
I blame Skrillex for ending the song on her verse. Twigs better make a House album cause her voices fits so much in that production style. Best part of the song indeed.

Overall, this song is at least better than nothing. Fka better make a house album.
Gonna listen to some Drum and bass. Bye (:

The Pharcyde: The real story

The Pharcyde is a rap group that really doesn't get the recognition it really needs. The group seriously doesn't need to be pit in as part of the jazz-rap genre. Not that it isn't jazz-rap, but they are much different personalities than A Tribe Called Quest or Digable Planets.  The personality of The Pharcyde is Whacky, insanefun, or laid back at certain points. Overall, they are(and were)very unique in the genre.

Why am I talking about them? Well, there's a unique style about them. They reflect their era/time pretty well. Just look at this.I don't know which is more aesthetic to me but my point is they are interesting to discover and look up. The album art even reflects the sound of the album which is great too.

Have some fun! Bye(:

Man this article is short. I got some more coming up.
